I had the chance to work with Mashon for about 6 months, and during that time, I learned how to help a founder and CEO stay organized and accountable. The company was facing challenges because the CEO often got distracted. Mashon hired me and trained me to help solve this problem. In addition to managing everyday tasks like the calendar, I also learned a lot about the different projects the CEO was working on and joined the Zoom coworking session to help him stay focused.
The zoom coworking session was new to me, but I quickly saw how helpful it was for someone who has ADHD. By understanding the timelines and the priorities of his projects, I was able to organize his schedule, shift priorities when needed for both work and personal matters, and keep him accountable during our zoom sessions. This approach really made a difference, helping the CEO stay focused and get things done while the team saw steady progress. The mix of “body doubling” and accountability was a game changer, and I really enjoyed the role.
